Vision & Mission

The vision and mission of the New Mexico Alumni in Recovery is to provide continued support services and act as a resource for Treatment Court graduates and other candidates within the Therapeutic Justice System. Collective support paired with technical assistance is intended to foster peer intervention strategies. Participants within the long-term recovery model have the opportunity to attend workshops, training, and maintenance coaching that focuses on self-development and leadership qualities. Peer mentorship and inter relational engagement are modeled to enable advancement within the community outreach spectrum. As mentors of the mindset it takes to maintain recovery, we appreciate personal strengths and acknowledge truth to promote balance. We recognize the value of each person's lived experience and acknowledge the tenacity of individuals who face addiction head on. We strive to connect with those who stand up to the odds that change the narrative of dual diagnosis and recidivism.
